Curious Inversions proudly presents their first self-published release, Iterations.

This vibrant and deep opus presents eleven mysterious Downtempo Electronica tracks with a cinematic perspective. Weaving an undercurrent of analog basses with misty digital pads, this album moves the listener forward through imagined realms with clever rhythms and nostalgic melodies. It may remind one of Tangerine Dream's Private Music years, with occasional influence from the broader Berlin School, but it remains informed by modern productions.

As a professional software developer with a passion for biology, Iterations melds influences of iterative creative development and evolutionary change, and ruminates on a human culture that finds itself on the cusp between the biological and the technical. The rhythms and patterns of the music are themselves iterations, developing in curious ways, at times pushed too far and forced to recede, at times stagnant and ripe for radical change.
